Lindisfarne

Some time in August, just a few days or weeks before I left for Scotland, I got an email that contained this image

My first thought, of course, was "That looks like Scotland." I immediately set off on finding out where this was (cause I had nothing better to do).

After a short amount of research, I found out it was a place called  Lindisfarne on The Holy Island, off the north eastern coast of England. Only two hours from Edinburgh! What are the chances.

I finally succeeded - with much of Alban's help - in seeing this place for myself.

I won't bore you with all the history. You can come see me to learn that :) But here are some pictures. You know me - firm believer that the pictures are the best part anyway.
